Robin Hood Foundation
New York City's largest poverty-fighting organization needed a strong branding and marketing effort designed to stand out and promote a concert fundraiser for celebrities and the well-connected featuring the Counting Crows.
Brooklyn Heals Together
Multi-dimensional branding for a well-known Brooklyn advocacy group--including digital marketing and wild postings--to create awareness and drive to a digital COVID-19 healing event with leaders in the community honoring those struggling with, and lost to, the pandemic.
GMHC
GMHC asked for a forum to promote awareness around National Condom Week, which is the second week of February. Our campaign leveraged graphics from an iconic Manhattan map in an offset, handprinted-block style to create an indelible image conveying the importance of responsible safe sex across the city.

Results
The MTA subsequently banned the campaign slated to run in the subway which, in turn, generated substantial local and national free media coverage, much to our clients’ delight—reaching a much broader audience than anticipated in promoting awareness for this cause. Our project was awarded the American Graphic Design Award for its excellence in communication and graphic design.
Public New York
This project was a renaming and rebranding of an Art House Design firm from the 50s into a Design and Advertising Agency with a focus on Brand Legacy. We used the original Gerngross & Clark stamp and hand embossed each piece of paper, envelope, and card that left the company as a way to reinforce the history and agency brand integrity.

Apollo Theater
The iconic entertainment institution needed to reimagine its brand in anticipation of its 70th Anniversary. From the start, we knew we needed to dig deep into the rich heritage of this landmark venue, yet still capture the enormous creativity, crackling energy and anti-establishment edge while showcasing a reverence for history. Working with the Apollo board and stakeholders, we started with a brand persona and strategy which informed the creation of a logo rooted in the indelible marquee identity.
We then applied a modern sheen to bring it into the present. And finally, we translated the persona into a set of unmistakable brand guidelines that any creative or marketer or employee could follow—to create communications that simultaneously embraced the past and charted a course for the future.
Oceana Hotel Group
Oceana needed a branding, marketing, and interior design overhaul for its 4 boutique, luxury hotels across New York City, Santa Barbara and Santa Monica. Each property’s branding needed to be unique individuality, yet, at the same time, maintain a connective thread to the larger parent franchise: Oceana Hotel Group.
The result included not only creating a brand design and identity inspired by collaborations with the hotel group’s CEO, but also working with the, architects, builders and interior designers to create a 360 degree experience that fulfilled on the brand promise at every stage.
